FISHING

C-Quest provides all fishing gear (rods, reels, lures, hooks, handlines etc) onboard for guest to use. If equipment is lost or broken we require it is replaced. We do not discourage people from bringing their own tackle reel, lures, braid, hooks and sinkers. However keep in mind the weight/space restrictions should you wish to bring your own rod, simply rig up your gear using our rods.

FOOD

All meals are included for the duration of the cruise. Our talented chef offers a range of cuisine and will cater for all dietary requirements and special needs. Please ensure you have recorded any dietary requirements and needs on your booking form.

DRINKS

C-Quest is a fully licensed vessel and stocks a selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks on board for purchase. These may be purchased by the stubby/can for beer and bottle or case for wine. You will have 24hr access to an ice machine to keep your beverages cold along with a tea and coffee station for your convenience. All non alcoholic beverages, including filtered drinking water are provided.

COMMUNICATIONS

Please be aware that you will not receive mobile phone service whilst on the Kimberley Coast. C-Quest is equipped with Satellite communications available to guests at a rate of $3.00 per minute for phone calls and $3.50 per minute for data and fax (9.6kbps).

MEDICAL

The C-Quest requests that travellers are in good health to participate in our cruise. Please make sure you have signed the Terms & Conditions page and supplied your medical history to the crew prior to commencing your cruise. The C-Quest carries appropriate first aid kit to comply with survey requirements, including a RFD medical kit onboard, and if fully supported via phone consultation and instruction by qualified medical practitioners in the event of a medical emergency. The C-Quest also carries general first aid kits in all tenders and accompanies all walks. Travel insurance is highly recommended as you will need to be covered for such items in the event of an emergency evacuation.

LIBRARY / AUDIO VISUAL

C-Quest offers state of the art audio and visual equipment on board including DVD, CD player and book library available to guest. We strongly recommend you bring some of your favourite music and/or movies as our taste may differ from yours.

  • All meals, service of staff, daily shore excursions, use of fishing gear, port fees.
  • Transfer between your accommodation and C-Quest.
  • Trips starting or finishing at the Hunter River include a helicopter flight over Mitchell Falls & scenic flight between Mitchell Plateau & Broome,
  • Soft drinks, Tea and coffee
  • Linen, towels, soap, sunscreen & insect repellent

WHATS NOT INCLUDED

  • Airfare to the Kimberley, which we strongly recommend are booked in advance.
  • Travel Insurance
  • Alcoholic/Non alcoholic beverages which are not included in our list can be pre-ordered through us only and paid prior to purchase / C-Quest is fully licenced and has bar on board with a selection of beers and wines. Prices per our beverage list
  • Items of a personal nature eg telephone calls, internet
  • Souvenirs

SMOKING

For safety reasons smoking is not permitted anywhere within the interior of the vessel, there is a designated outdoor area. Respect for fellow passengers and the environment is essential, cigarette butts must be disposed on onboard in the ashtrays provided.

BAGGAGE

*A maximum baggage allowance of 15kg per person this includes hand luggage/bags.
Due to strict conditions imposed by the helicopter and plane transfers we ask you to please bring your luggage in a soft bag / backpack with a 10kg per person limit, for easy transfer and storage.

WHAT TO BRING

  • Light weight casual clothing /quick dry clothing for excursions
  • Long pants & warm long sleeve top for any cool evenings
  • Shoes are not worn on board, however walking shoes/sandals with good grip for excursions & reef shoes/sandals for beach
  • Swimwear, hat, sunglasses, long sleeve light weight top for dinghy/ shore excursions
  • A small day pack suitable to carry camera, film, batteries, personal water bottle
  • Personal toiletries shampoo, conditioner etc. Soap, sunscreen and insect repellent is provided but you may wish to bring your own
  • Medication, please ensure sufficient supply of medication for the duration of the cruise including travel sickness remedies if required.
  • Each cabin is equipped with a 240v power point for recharging of camera/shavers etc.
  • A hairdryer is available on request you are welcome to bring your own, bearing in mind it is casual cruising.
  • Souvenirs are available for purchase
  • Dinner attire is casual no formal wear required

HOUSE KEEPING

Cabins are serviced daily. We supply all linen, bath towels & beach towels. Face towels and hand towels available on request. Limited laundry facilities including iron & ironing board are available.

SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX

C-Quest is not equipped with safety deposit box, we suggest you do not bring any valuables unless necessary, and in doing so it is at your own risk.

OTHER

TRANSFERS

C-Quest offer complimentary transfers in Broome from the airport or your accommodation to the vessel then back to the airport or your accommodation upon return.

Cruise / Fly Itinerary: Boarding in Broome at approximately 1700. Pick up times for transfers are between 1530 - 1630. On the day of departure you will be contacted to confirm your pick up time. Check out of your cabins will be at 0800 morning of your departure in preparation for you 30min helicopter ride over the spectacular Mitchell Falls then onto the airstrip for you scenic flight to Broome. The Scenic flight is just over 2 hours, arrival into Broome would be between 2.30pm – 4.30pm

Fly / Cruise itinerary: Guest depart on their scenic flight for Broome to Mitchell Plateau between 0730 – 0830 transfer times will be confirmed via your accommodation or mobile number the day before departure. Disembarking at Broome is approx 0900 - 1000 where you will be collected and transferred back to your accommodation or Airport for those flying out the same day.
