Safety and Medical Advice
Even in calm waters movement between tender and boat or simply descending stairs between decks can be hazardous if done incorrectly. C-Quest’s crews are trained in first aid and safe procedures for all activities.
Please take their advice, be careful and don't spoil a great adventure with a careless step. While the helipad means a near immediate helicopter evacuation directly from the vessel can be provided, we prefer to use the helipad for scenic flights, arrivals and departures.

Captain and Crew’s Responsibility
Both the crew and the Captain are focussed on guests enjoying a flexible, comfortable and safe adventure. This requires a respect and hopefully genuine regard for all passengers and crew and the need to recognise the authority of the Ship’s Captain. We try to satisfy all customer requests and those individual experiences that can make your adventure all the more rewarding.

When travelling on the 14-day Ultimate cruise, you may wish to take advantage of the popular option to take a helicopter flights over the fabled Mitchell Plateau. Most flights have a duration of one hour and costs start from around $600 per person. For those passengers on the eight-day ‘Kimberly Discovery Expedition’ the cost of the flight is included in transfers.
