Late Rains, Waterfalls and Lush Green Kimberley Landscapes

Wednesday, November 02, 2011

The c quest crew have just returned from trip 8 for the year through the rugged kimberleys and what a trip it has been! although officially in the 'dry season', late rains have ensured that the landscape still looks fairly green and those beautiful waterfalls are flowing strong. the cooler mornings have been giving way to picture perfect, sunny afternoons ideal for getting that kimberley tan on the forward deck.  Read More

WE ARE ON OUR WAY!

Wednesday, November 02, 2011

We left Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour on Tuesday 23rd of March with C-Quest fully stocked and all crew aboard, everyone looking forward to our destination-Broome. We made quite good time stopping at Carnavon to refuel and stayed the night on Wednesday evening, leaving Thursday morning to continue further up the rugged Western Australian coastline.
Amongst cleaning and maintenance, we have been lucky enough to experience pretty good weather, beautiful sunsets, dolphins and even a few dugongs! We are currently approaching the Dampier Archipelago, keeping our fingers crossed that the weather continues to ease for us. Read More

another satisfied passenger!

.. From the start to the finish every detail was considered to ensure our holiday was to be outstanding.

To say we were treated like royalty would be an understatement. The crew we found to be very capable, friendly and passionate. They were not only passionate about their job but of the Kimberly, and its history.

Each day was exciting but a little different from the previous - riding through the Horizontal Falls, feeding the sharks, observing with awe Montgomery Reef appearing out of nowhere to mention a few. We were both intrigued and thrilled by the kaleidoscope of scenery.  Mother nature also provided some storm fronts for evening entertainment.

As for the food.... most delicious!

Our holiday is now but a happy memory and we would like to thank all of the wonderful people for ensuring we had such a fantastic time.

Best regards
